John is the founder and Managing Director of Chadwicks, and has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services.
His specialist areas include investment portfolio planning, inheritance tax and estate planning. He has organised and delivered numerous retirement and mid-career financial planning courses for employees of public and private sector organisations. A graduate of the University of London and member of the Personal Finance Society, John is qualified as a Chartered Financial Adviser and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
John now spends the majority of his time developing and enhancing services to clients for the whole firm. Chadwicks has ambitious growth plans and John is involved with the acquisition of IFA firms, joint ventures with other professional firms and recruitment of high calibre staff.
He lives in Denbighshire with his wife Jennie and their white German Shepherd and a Chihuahua! Outside of work he enjoys fishing, travel and he is currently writing a book. John has a keen interest in politics and current affairs.
Antony has worked in financial services for over 20 years and was appointed as a non-executive director to the Chadwicks board at the beginning of 2020.
Antony lives in the Isle of Man where he is Group Commercial Director of a large financial services group and part of the executive team launching the first new licensed bank in the Isle of Man for approximately 30 years!
He is a Member of the Personal Finance Society, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and holds the Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.
As a non-executive director, Antony has a sharp focus on risk and governance, he is passionate about client experience and excited to be helping the Chadwicks team develop the company’s strategic thinking and direction.
Outside of work, Antony is a keen walker and runner, enjoys golf and skiing and is also an avid bridge player!
Mark has over a decade of experience in financial services covering pensions, investments and protection with firms in the Cheshire area as well as working in the City.
He prides himself on his diligence and enabling his client’s to meet their aims and objectives.
Mark is a Chartered Financial Planner and is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society which is the highest accolade awarded in financial services.
In his spare time he is an keen follower of sport and travels far and wide following the Welsh national football team.
Kevin has worked in financial services since 1989, starting in the branch network of the leeds permanent building society (later part of the halifax) and moving into providing independent financial advice in 1992.
Kevin, who lives in Leigh, Lancashire, joined Chadwicks in January 2004. He is a general practitioner adviser, covering a wide spectrum of personal financial issues. Many of his new clients are referrals.
Kevin holds a diploma in financial planning from the Personal Finance Society and continues his studies towards chartered status.
Kate has been a member of the Chadwicks team since May 2002, having previously worked for a national IFA.
Her objective for financial planning is to enable clients to organise their assets to realise their full potential. Kate believes it is important to simplify jargon and complex financial matters for clients to help them make wise decisions, particularly around transferring their occupational pensions.
Kate is Advanced Diploma qualified and has achieved Chartered status. Not content to stop at Chartered status, Kate has progressed even further and is now a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
Kate lives in Tarporley and mostly enjoys spending time with her young daughter, family and friends. Zumba is her favourite fitness activity along with walking and cycling.
Prior to joining Chadwicks, Clair spent 6 years working with an IFA firm in Shropshire as Administrator and later Office Manager.
This followed from 3 years with a local Building Society in Oswestry as a Customer Adviser offering account opening and transactional services. During the last 9 years within the Financial Services industry she has learnt and developed her skills and qualifications, and has now obtained the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Clair is continuing her studies towards gaining the Advanced Diploma.
Clair lives near the Shropshire border and outside of work she enjoys spending time in the country with her dog Shyla and socialising with friends and family.
Ian joined Chadwick’s in July 2020 having previously worked for a National Wealth Management Company as an IFA. He has over 25 years Financial Services experience including roles within Compliance, Training and Supervising Sales Teams.
Ian is a graduate of the University of East Anglia and as well as being Advanced Diploma qualified, achieved Chartered Status and is currently studying towards becoming a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
He specialises in Wealth management including retirement and investment planning and also has a keen interest in Corporate financial planning and protection.
Ian is based in Berkshire, married to Maria and spends most of his spare time attending football with his son Jacob who has recently joined a Championship West London football team academy at the tender age of 8
With over 15 years experience in liaising with retail customers and commercial clients, Robbie’s solid history within the automotive and financing industry has fuelled his passion for finding the right solution for his client’s needs whilst maintaining excellent ongoing support.
Studying towards his level 4 diploma in giving Independent Financial Advice, Robbie also offers Chadwicks IFA clients a telephone triage service, giving general advice on a vast selection of categories whilst supporting all other Independent Financial Advisers in their daily administrative work.
A devoted husband and father of two fantastic little boys, he loves taking time out with his family and enjoying the great outdoors all over the country, although his much-loved home of North Wales is always his first choice.”
Jennifer has worked in financial services since 2002 where she started as a Paraplanner for an IFA in London. She also worked for IFA firms in Reading and Oxford before joining Chadwicks as a Paraplanner in 2010.
Jennifer is Advanced Diploma qualified and has achieved Chartered Status. She is also a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and walking her dog.
Amie joined Chadwicks in 2018 as a Paraplanner having worked within a variety of roles within independent financial advisers previously. Prior to finding her vocation within the financial services Amie has worked for craft companies and has ran an art department in a summer camp in West Virginia.
Amie is diploma qualified and continuing her studies with the goal of obtaining Chartered status. Her main responsibilities are preparing the research for client reports in a clear and concise manner.
Outside of work Amie enjoys running local half marathons, dog walks and convincing people that crochet is actually very cool.
Sally joined Chadwicks in February 2016. She has been employed in Financial Services since 2001 and has spent much of that time working as an authorised senior paraplanner for Brewin Dolphin.
Prior to this, Sally worked as a paraplanner for Baker Tilly Financial Services, Scott Lang & Co and a National IFA.
Sally is Diploma qualified and would like to reach Chartered status in the future.
Sally lives in Chester and enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys.
Clare joined Chadwicks IFA in December 2018 as an Administrator and spends her time providing admin support for the team of Financial Advisers. Previously Clare has worked in Marketing roles for national & international brands.
Clare is currently studying for her diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
Clare lives in Cheshire with her husband and two children. In her spare time see enjoys walking and spending time with her family and friends.
Shaun joined Chadwicks IFA in September 2020 as a trainee Paraplanner. Shaun has several years of experience in the financial services industry having worked in an adviser and client support role for Sanlam Wealth Planning and also has experience in Retail Banking.
Shaun holds the CII Certificate for Mortgage Advice and is currently studying towards his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
In his spare time, Shaun is a keen guitarist and enjoys trail running and going to the gym.
Matthew joined Chadwick’s back in January 2018 after working for an Employment Law specialist as a Business Development Executive for three years. Prior to this Matthew gained a degree in Business Management and is now working towards his diploma for financial advising.
Some of Matthew’s responsibilities include helping our existing business clients develop their workplace financial education program, making sure they receive the greatest level of support and to seek further avenues in which to develop Chadwick’s position as a leading supplier of workplace financial education.
Matthew now lives in Oxford and is an avid golfer in his spare time.
Bal has over 10 years experience working in a Business Development role. He has previously worked for HBOS as a Corporate Sales Manager and Exacta Plc as a Business Development Manager. The latter role involved talking to Finance Directors about property taxation.
In his current role at Chadwicks, Bal communicates with Personnel Managers and Training and Development Managers to explain the benefits of financial education in the workplace.
He enjoys spending his spare time with his partner and two young children. When he can he also plays football for a local team.
Jennie helps support our Marketing and Business Development efforts at Chadwicks IFA. She spends time helping arranging events and speaking with people who have attended one of our events.
Jennie is married to John Chadwick, Managing Director of Chadwicks IFA.
Alison has worked in Financial Services since 2001, beginning her career at Natwest Bank initially starting as a Customer Service Officer.
Over her 6 years with the bank she worked her way to become a Private Banking Managers Assistant looking after their most affluent customers. Alison then went onto join Chadwick’s in 2007 as an administrator and then progressed to office manager.
Alison lives in Wrexham and outside work enjoys spending time with friends and family, running and has recently qualified as a fitness instructor specialising in teaching Kettlebell classes.
James has a strong interest in personal financial advice and has previously worked for Natwest Bank where he gained experience of a variety of financial products and services when he worked as an introducer for the financial planning managers.
He now helps to organise our seminars being the main point of contact for arranging, venues, speakers and agenda’s.
In addition, James prepares valuations and investment reviews which are vital in keeping clients informed on the progress of their plans.
He lives in Wrexham and enjoys collecting and listening to music from many different genres.
Melissa has been with Chadwicks IFA since early 2019. She spends her time supporting our team of Financial Advisers and preparing valuations and investment reviews which are vital in keeping clients informed on the progress of their plans.
Melissa lives in Frodsham with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with family, friends and going to the gym.
